How to Grow Weeping Goddess of Mercy

1. Temperature

It has poor cold resistance and is suitable for growing in an environment between 20 and 30 degrees. It should be placed indoors in winter and the temperature should be controlled, which should be above 8 degrees, otherwise it will affect its growth. When the temperature is below 5 degrees, it will easily be frostbite. Don't worry in summer, just provide it with a cool environment.

2. Lighting

During the cultivation period, it should be placed in a well-ventilated and appropriately lit place, but not in strong light, otherwise the leaves will easily wither due to the sun, so it should be shaded in summer. During the flowering period, it is necessary to provide sufficient light so that it can bloom smoothly and the flowers will be bigger and more beautiful.

3. Watering

It has a great demand for water. Once the soil is dry, it is necessary to replenish water in time. Also pay attention to spraying water more often to increase the humidity and clean the leaves. But there should be no stagnant water to avoid root rot.

4. Fertilization

It is a plant that likes fertilizer very much. Only with sufficient fertilizer can the leaves be bigger and greener. During the maintenance period, fertilizer is usually applied once a month. Nitrogen fertilizer should be used and mixed with a small amount of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer. If fertilizer is not applied for a long time, it will easily lead to poor growth, there will be empty shells at the bottom of the stem, and the leaves will become smaller, affecting the appearance.

5. Pruning

If yellow or dry leaves are found during maintenance, they should be cut off in time to prevent them from further expanding and affecting growth. If the plant grows too tall, it should be pruned promptly to avoid uneven nutrient distribution.
