Water bamboo cultivation methods and precautions

Water bamboo cultivation methods and precautions

1. Hydroponic culture method

1. Water quality: The water quality for hydroponic cultivation of water bamboo is very important. It is best to use river water, river water, or well water, which can help its growth. If tap water is used for home breeding, it is recommended to dry it in the sun for 1-2 days before use, and avoid using mineral water for maintenance.

2. Change water: When the water evaporates quickly, change the water every 2-3 days, because when the water is polluted, it will have a great impact on the growth of the plants.

3. Root pruning: When growing in water, the stem is very easy to rot. Once discovered, it must be cut off from the bamboo node in time.

2. Soil culture method

1. Soil: Acidic soil is required for soil culture. Using alkaline soil is not conducive to its growth and the leaves will easily turn yellow. The soil in the north is mostly alkaline, so it is recommended to water with ferrous sulfate once a month.

2. Sunlight: It should be placed in a place with good light. It can also accept a semi-shaded environment, but it must not be exposed to the scorching sun.

3. Watering: Water should be replenished in time during the growing period to maintain a moist growth environment. When the temperature of the breeding environment is too high, water should be sprayed appropriately to maintain moisture.

3. Notes

When growing hydroponically, you must pay attention to changing the water. If the water is too dirty or contains impurities, it will directly affect the growth of the plants. Soil cultivation must also ensure sufficient water. If it is in a state of water shortage for a long time, it will grow poorly.
