1. Cutting time

Under normal circumstances, it can be propagated by cuttings all year round, but it is recommended to do it in autumn because the climate and temperature in this season are more conducive to its growth and recovery, and the survival rate is also high. The best temperature for cuttings is between 18 and 25 degrees. Too high or too low is not conducive to growth.

2. Cutting method

1. Processing branches: Select healthy branches and cut the branches to be cut into small sections of five to eight centimeters long, and make sure that each section has three or four leaf nodes. Cut the bottom slit at a 45-degree angle to better absorb moisture.

2. Prepare the potting soil: the soil should be air-permeable, loose and fertile. You can prepare it yourself by mixing garden soil, sandy soil, leaf mold and organic fertilizer. After preparation, put it into the flowerpot and water it to make it moist.

3. Insert the cuttings into the soil: Insert the prepared cuttings directly into the soil. Do not insert them too deep, about two or three centimeters will be enough. Then press it firmly with your hands to make it stand upright, and then wrap it with plastic film to keep it moisturized.

4. Later maintenance: After planting, keep it in a cool place and provide it with a moist and ventilated environment. It will take about half a month to take root and survive.
