How to grow green radish

How to grow green radish

1. Soil culture method

1. Soil: To grow green radish, you need loose soil, humus-containing soil, and acidic soil. Do not use heavy alkaline soil as it will cause root rot.

2. Light: It should be placed in a sunny place at ordinary times, but it should be moved to a cool place in summer. It should not be exposed to direct sunlight. If you keep it indoors, you can place it on a ventilated balcony, avoid placing it in a location that is too dark, and provide it with an appropriate amount of natural light.

3. Water: It is suitable for growing in a slightly humid environment, so water should be given in time after the soil becomes dry to avoid excessive drought. In summer, water will evaporate faster, so you can spray a small amount of water while watering to ensure that the breeding humidity is not too low. In severe winter, water control should be done to avoid frostbite.

2. Hydroponic culture method

1. Water quality: The water quality of water cultured green radish is critical. Purified water and tap water that has been dried in the sun should be used. There must be no impurities in the water, and tap water cannot be used directly. It must be air-dried for 1-2 days before use.

2. Change water: Before the plant takes root, you need to change the water every 2-3 days. After the plant takes root, you don’t need to change the water too frequently. Normally, you only need to add a small amount of water, and then change the water when the water becomes turbid.

3. Nutrients: When hydroponically cultivating, you should add an appropriate amount of nutrient solution. There must be nutrients to maintain plant growth. Just apply 1-2 drops when changing water. After using the nutrient solution, green algae will form on the inner wall of the container. You should pay more attention to it and clean it in time.
