How to grow Clivia green and bright and fast

How to grow Clivia green and bright and fast

1. Add some water

If you want to make the Clivia grow green and bright, you must create suitable growth conditions for it and keep the planting soil moist during maintenance. The potting soil cannot be dry for a long time, otherwise the leaves of the plant will turn yellow and wither. When the breeding climate is relatively dry, it is necessary to use a spray to spray it with water to maintain moist and cool maintenance conditions.

2. Environmental ventilation

Usually, try to place it in a ventilated place for maintenance. If the breeding environment is too shaded and not ventilated, the leaves of the plant will become thin and weak, and may even turn yellow. When growing indoors, you need to open the windows as much as possible on sunny days to allow the plant to breathe better and its leaves to grow better.

3. Reasonable lighting

The growth state of the plant is also related to light. When caring for it, allowing it to receive appropriate scattered light can help the leaves carry out photosynthesis. However, if it is exposed to direct sunlight for a long time, its leaves will easily be sunburned, causing them to turn yellow and wilt. On the contrary, do not expose the leaves to insufficient light for a long time, as this will make the leaves dull.

4. Give fertilizer in time

It should be provided with reasonable nutrition. You can feed it some fish meal, bone meal, etc. in spring and winter to make its leaves more shiny. In autumn, you can apply some decomposed bean cake fertilizer. You should control the amount of fertilizer and try to do it in the morning. When applying fertilizer, do not get too close to the roots of the plant, as this may cause burns.
