Seed selection

When selecting seeds, choose seeds with full grains and heavier weight. After selecting, use needle-nosed pliers to clamp the tail of the seed. This is a technical job, as you have to open it up without damaging the germ inside.

soak

Soak the processed seeds in water, try to use warm water. The water will become turbid at the beginning. Change the water 2 to 3 times a day, and then just once a day. Soak for 3 days.

bud

After 3 days, you can see new sprouts from the seeds. Throw away seeds that don't germinate. The germination and growth are very rapid. In half a day, the buds can grow 1-2 cm.

Mud transplanting

After 5-6 days, the buds of the water lily will grow to about 6 cm, and you can put soil in the small pot. Colored beads for children to play with are also fine.

When adding soil, pay attention to the distance so that the leaves are exposed above the water. Do not change the water frequently, as too clear water is not conducive to the growth of water lilies.

Finish

In this way, the small bonsai is planted. You can add something to the soil according to your personal preference to make your small bonsai look bright and beautiful. However, the lotus is a light-loving plant, so you need to get out in the sun often!
