Guava sowing time and method (with maintenance knowledge)

Guava sowing time and method (with maintenance knowledge)

1. Sowing time

The best time to sow guava is from February to April. At this time, the temperature in various regions begins to rise and the sunlight is relatively sufficient, which is most suitable for sowing. However, specific adjustments should be made based on the local climate. If the temperature is still low, it can be done later.

2. Sowing Method

1. Choose seeds: Before sowing, choose seeds of good quality. Do not use cheap or defective seeds as they will be difficult to germinate after sowing. Each seed should be full enough and have no worm holes, this kind of seeds is better.

2. Germination: After selecting the seeds, soak them in gibberellin with a lower concentration and take them out after about 12 hours. Also, prepare a well-drained sowing medium, and make the soil loose enough and highly air-permeable before planting.

3. Correct sowing: Usually it is done by broadcasting. After sowing, cover it with a layer of soil and water it thoroughly. Don't cover the soil too thickly to avoid affecting seed germination. A thin layer will be enough.

3. Maintenance methods

After the seeds begin to germinate, you need to control the amount of watering to prevent them from rotting. If there is grass in the soil, it needs to be removed in time. As it continues to grow, it also needs appropriate fertilization. The fertilizer must be decomposed before use, and the amount must be controlled. When maintaining it, try to keep the temperature above 15℃, and it will grow quickly.
