How to grow Chlorophytum comosum in spring

How to grow Chlorophytum comosum in spring

1. Suitable temperature

The temperature is best between 15 and 25 degrees, not too high or too low. In particular, it should not be too low, because the phalaenopsis is not cold-resistant and the weather is still relatively cold in early spring, so it needs to keep out the cold.

2. Adequate fertilizer and water

The entire spring is its vigorous growth stage, so there must be sufficient water and fertilizer. When the soil dries out, replenish it promptly and water it thoroughly each time. If the weather is dry, you can spray some water around it. Be careful to water thoroughly but avoid accumulation of water, which may cause harm. In addition to watering, you also need to apply fertilizer in moderation, generally once every half a month, using cake fertilizer water.

3. Good light

Light not only promotes its growth, but also affects its beauty. If the light is too weak, its leaves will become very dark, ugly and affect the viewing experience. Placing it in a place with good diffuse light can promote its growth.

4. Proper ventilation

Spring also requires a good ventilation environment. If the temperature is suitable, you can take it directly outdoors for maintenance.

5. Disease prevention and control

If too much water is poured, a lot of water accumulates in the pot and is not drained out in time, the roots will be soaked in water and easily get sick, which is what we often call "root rot." Once discovered, medication should be used in time. If the problem is serious, the plant should be removed from the pot, and then the roots should be trimmed and put back in the pot.
