How to grow yellow-skinned ebony succulent

Yellow-skinned ebony is a succulent plant with thick and upright leaves. It is a very easy to grow plant. Ebony is expensive, and it is not easy to grow well. If you want it to grow healthily, it has relatively high requirements for the environment, and you need to do a good job of maintenance and management so that it can be grown to its best condition.

Cultivation of yellow-skinned ebony succulent

1. Light: The yellow-skinned ebony succulent plant likes light. It can only grow better if there is sufficient light supply. The daily light exposure time should not be less than 6 hours. It should be properly shaded in the summer. When the temperature is highest at noon, the ebony cannot be exposed to the sun to avoid the leaves becoming soft.

2. Watering: Be careful when watering the yellow-skinned ebony. If the soil in the pot is too dry or there is water accumulation in the soil, it will affect the growth of the yellow-skinned ebony. If you water it too much, the roots of the ebony will rot. Under normal circumstances, watering it once every four or five days will be enough.

3. Fertilizer: Yellow-skinned ebony is a fertilizer-loving plant. It can only grow more vigorously if it is adequately supplied with nutrients. However, you must pay attention to the amount of fertilizer. If you apply too much fertilizer, the roots will be burned. Generally, it is enough to apply fertilizer once every half a month.

4. Temperature: During the growth period of yellow-skinned ebony, the temperature must be higher than 15 degrees Celsius so that it can grow healthily. If the temperature is too low, the plant will suffer frost damage. It is best not to be lower than 5 degrees. Its suitable growth temperature is around 20 degrees.

Precautions for the maintenance of yellow ebony

When growing yellow-skinned ebony succulent, you must use loose, well-drained and breathable soil. When you mix it yourself, add more granular soil. It likes light, so you should let it get more sun, but pay attention to blocking the strong light in summer. You don't need to water it too often. It should be dry and wet during the growing season, and water should be controlled appropriately during the dormant period.
