How to propagate Impatiens by cuttings

Impatiens likes loose, nutrient-rich soil with good drainage. It should be placed in the sun for two days to sterilize and set aside. Choose disease-free branches with terminal buds from the mother plant with good growth. Cut ten centimeters with scissors, make sure there are five nodes, keep one or two leaves on the top, cut the bottom into an oblique angle with a knife, apply rooting powder on it and place it in a cool place to dry.

Prepare a container of suitable size, fill it with soil, poke a few holes in the soil with a wooden stick, insert the cuttings into the holes, water to keep the soil moist, cover it with a film, and place it in a well-ventilated place for maintenance. It will survive in about a month. If the temperature and humidity are low, it may take fifteen days to take root.
