What fertilizer to use for peppers

The fertilizer supplement should be mainly compound fertilizer, 10-15 kg of triple compound fertilizer per mu, and a certain amount of micro-fertilizer will have a better effect. It should be noted that after topdressing, watering should be done in time to promote the absorption of nutrients by peppers.

Fertilizer for pepper

When fertilizing peppers, different fertilizers should be selected according to the time of fertilization. Before planting, an appropriate amount of base fertilizer should be applied, usually organic fertilizer, superphosphate, and a certain amount of potassium sulfate. Organic fertilizer and superphosphate should also be used for topdressing during the seedling stage, but the amount should be much less. If it is foliar topdressing, urea and potassium dihydrogen phosphate should be sprayed during the flowering and fruiting period to fully supplement the nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium elements.

Pepper fertilization method

When preparing the land, 5,000 kg of decomposed farmyard manure, 50 kg of superphosphate and 20 kg of potassium sulfate fertilizer should be applied per acre of peppers. This can effectively promote the subsequent growth of peppers. When applying fertilizer, it is also necessary to pay attention to the need to do it in sunny weather. If it is rainy, the fertilizer may flow away with the water, and thus fail to provide sufficient nutrients to the peppers. The soil needs to be loosened before fertilizing, which can promote the root system's absorption of nutrients.
