Cultivation methods and precautions of cherry crystal

Sakura crystal is very easy to grow. It is a succulent plant of the Liliaceae family and is native to South Africa. Its leaves are crystal clear. If well maintained, they look like they are carved from jade. They are very beautiful and have a relatively high ornamental value.

How to grow cherry crystal

1. Soil

To cultivate cherry crystal, you need to choose fertile soil with good air permeability and drainage performance, and it is best to have more granular soil. You can use peat soil plus coarse vermiculite and river sand, mix them together, so that the cherry crystal can grow well.

2. Lighting

Sakura crystal prefers a well-ventilated diffuse light environment and is not suitable for long-term direct sunlight. During the growth period, it can be placed in a well-ventilated environment where it can receive scattered sunlight for about 4 hours. During the high temperature period in summer, it should be placed in a cool and ventilated place for cultivation.

3. Temperature

During the growth process of cherry crystal, the temperature should be controlled between 10 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius. When the temperature is higher than 30 degrees Celsius, it must be cultivated under the shade of trees. When the temperature is lower than 5 degrees Celsius, it must be moved to a warm indoor place for cultivation.

Precautions for the maintenance of cherry crystal

When caring for cherry crystal, you must pay attention to drainage and avoid water accumulation. In spring and autumn, it is in its vigorous growth period, so you can water it according to the principle of watering when the weather is dry and watering when the weather is wet. In the dry season, you can spray water on the plant and the surrounding area appropriately to maintain a high environmental humidity.
