What to do if the leaves of lucky bamboo turn yellow

1. Change water quality

Reason: When the water quality for cultivating lucky bamboo becomes dirty and deteriorates, its roots are in an unhealthy growth environment, which will cause rot and the leaves will turn yellow more easily.

Solution: Pour out the water in the container, trim off the rotten roots with sterilized scissors, and replace it with clean water. During daily maintenance, replace the water immediately if you find that the water has become dirty.

2. Increase Lighting

Reason: Lucky bamboo needs a short period of light during its growth period. If the cultivation environment is too dark, its leaves will not only turn yellow but also wilt.

Solution: Place it in a sunny place as soon as possible and provide proper ventilation. After the plant recovers for a few days, its yellow leaves will slowly turn green.

3. Increase humidity

Reason: During the cultivation period, the plant will grow better under a certain humidity. If the climate in the cultivation environment is too dry, the leaves will turn yellow.
