Cultivation methods and precautions of four-season chrysanthemum

Four-season chrysanthemum is relatively easy to grow. This plant has a high ornamental value and can grow very lushly. It does not have high requirements for soil and can be grown in basically both the north and the south. The main thing is to maintain sufficient light.

Cultivation method of four-season chrysanthemum

1. Soil

Four-season chrysanthemum has very high requirements for soil. It is best to choose fertile, loose and well-breathable soil. Humus soil, sandy soil, cake fertilizer, etc. can be used together.

2. Fertilization

Four-season chrysanthemums need sufficient nutrients during their growth period. During the maintenance period, fertilizers need to be applied once every month or so, mainly with compound fertilizers, which can make the chrysanthemums bloom quickly.

3. Light temperature

The most suitable growth temperature for four-season chrysanthemum is 15-35℃. When grown in a sunny environment, four-season chrysanthemum can absorb more water and nutrients, and the flowers will be brighter.

4. Pruning

In winter and spring, the four-season chrysanthemum needs to be properly pruned. All the dead and diseased branches of the plant should be pruned away, leaving only the thick main trunk. This is more conducive to flowering in the second year.

Precautions for the maintenance of four-season chrysanthemum

The plant of four-season chrysanthemum has very high requirements for light. If conditions permit, it is best to ensure full sunlight at ordinary times. This is more conducive to the differentiation of flower buds of the plant and allows the plant to bloom more.
