Common methods of seed germination (five methods of seed germination and the whole process)

Now is the sowing season, and people who like to grow flowers and vegetables can start new sowing. For example, the seeds of some vegetables, fruits and flowers we need to plant can be sown, such as eggplant, tomato, corn, pumpkin, green onion, cucumber, cherry, sunflower, forget-me-not , etc.

It is best to germinate these seeds before sowing, so that they can germinate more smoothly, germinate faster, and the seedlings grow stronger. Here are some common seed germination methods.

①Method 1: Soak in water to accelerate germination

Seed germination is very simple. Just put the seeds in a container, then put some water in the container to soak the seeds.

Generally, after soaking it overnight, drain the water and place it in a slightly warmer place.

Finally, we cover the seeds with a blanket and slowly the seeds will germinate. Remember not to wrap the seeds tightly with plastic cloth. This will make them unable to breathe. So the method of accelerating seed germination is very simple.

②Method 2: Germination in disposable lunch boxes

Disposable lunch box germination can also be called paper towel germination. This is to put the seeds on a wet paper towel first, soak the paper towel first, and make sure it is not dripping.

Then put the seeds on the paper towel, and put the paper towel with seeds in the disposable lunch box.

Finally, we put a layer of plastic wrap on the lunch box, poke a few holes, and water it every day. When white roots grow, plant them directly in the soil.

③Method 3: Using a router to accelerate germination

Maybe you haven't tried or heard of this method. Because people who often use computers must have routers at home, and routers will emit heat, so you can wrap the seeds in wet paper towels, put them in a small plastic bag, and put them on the router to germinate.

④Method 4: Place it in an air-conditioned room

If you still use air conditioning at home, you can put the seeds in a wet paper towel and put them in a warm room in the same way as above, which can also achieve the effect of germination. Generally, when the seeds germinate, the miracle of breaking through the soil occurs instantly.

⑤ Germination with water

Put the selected corn seeds into a clean container, soak them in cold water at night, and drain the water from the corn seed container the next morning.

Then cover it with a wet towel prepared in advance and place it in a warm and sunny place. Pour clean water three to four times a day. After a few days, the thriving corn seeds will sprout.
