How to graft Schlumbergera triangularis

Many people say that the grafted Christmas cactus is the three-edged arrow that looks like a dragon bone. The grafted Christmas cactus has a better affinity and is very easy to survive. It also has good support and a simple grafting method. This is the ideal grafting rootstock for many novices. So how to graft the three-edged arrow onto the Christmas cactus?

First, remove a part of the top of the three-edged arrow, and then make a deep cut on the edge of the three-edged arrow, about 2 cm. Then, cut the two sides of the Christmas cactus and insert it into the cut of the three-edged arrow.

If you are afraid that it will slip out, you can fix it with cactus thorns, but don't pierce the center of the Christmas cactus, but pierce it a little off-center, don't water it, and don't let the wound touch water. In this way, it will heal in about ten days, and it will grow very quickly.

Euphorbia milii grafted with dragon bone

When grafting Euphorbia milii onto dragon bones, part of the top should also be cut off, and then the white juice of the dragon bone should be wiped clean with a paper towel.

Then make a deep cut about 2 cm near the keel, and then cut the Euphorbia milii into small sections of about 10 cm.

Then cut the small piece on both sides to a length of about 2 cm, and then insert it into the deep cut just now. Be careful not to let the wound touch water, and don't water it. Later, when we see that the wound is completely healed, we can gradually expose it to light.
