The efficacy and function of mullein

The efficacy and function of mullein

Parts that can be used as medicine

The whole plant can be used as medicine. It has a good effect on stopping bleeding, dispersing blood stasis, clearing away heat and detoxifying; it can specifically treat traumatic bleeding, bruises, sores, chronic appendicitis, pneumonia and other diseases.

Harvest time

It can be harvested in summer and autumn and used directly after harvesting, or rinsed and placed in a cool place to dry before storage. Friends who do not have the conditions for harvesting can also purchase it directly under the doctor's advice.

Usage and Dosage

Treating chronic appendicitis

Take 30 grams of mullein, add appropriate amount of water and boil it, then add appropriate amount of brown sugar before drinking.

Treating sores

Take 9 grams of mullein, add water and boil, then add brown sugar or white wine before drinking.

Treat injuries from falls or gunshot wounds

Take an appropriate amount of mullein and mash it into powder, then add a small amount of wine to make a paste and apply it to the affected area.

Other effects

Medical research has found that it also has the effects of lowering blood sugar, laxative and diuresis, anti-allergic and antiviral. It is a very rare wild medicinal material.

However, I would like to remind my friends here that if you are not very familiar with the medicinal properties, it is not recommended to prepare it yourself, so as to avoid conflicts with other edibles or improper use, which may have adverse effects and cause other discomfort symptoms.
