8 ways to make your own rooting agent. The recipe for the home rooting agent is so practical.

There are many raw materials for making rooting water in our lives. After being made by ourselves, they all have the effect of promoting the rooting and growth of plants. And these methods are very simple, and the rooting effect is also very good. So, how to make rooting agent by yourself, which method is the most effective?

Willow branches

Willow branches contain salicylic acid, which can effectively promote cell division and have a good rooting effect. After cutting the willow branches into small pieces, soak them in hot water for 12 hours to complete the preparation of raw water. When cutting, we soak the base of the pruned branches for 2-3 hours and then cut them into the seedbed.

White Vinegar

White vinegar contains organic acids, which can effectively promote cell division, accelerate rooting, inhibit fungi, reduce branch base rot, and improve survival rate.

In view of the fact that some friends are prone to black rot when cutting, here we recommend that you use vinegar water to root. The so-called black rot is actually caused by bacteria and viruses that breed in the dark.

Earth Honey

Honey is a natural rooting agent. People can promote rooting by letting the branches to be cut into a small amount of honey. First, deliberately cut the lower end of the branches to be cut into an angle, with a 45° angle being the best, to avoid bacterial infection and pest damage, and promote rapid rooting.

White sugar or glucose powder

Generally, add 1 kg of sugar to 20-30 kg of water, stir evenly and soak the base of the cuttings for 0.5-1 hour. This rooting water is used more often when cutting. Since the concentration of sugar water is much lower than that of honey, the branches need to be soaked for a longer time.

Vitamin B12

Many people have this vitamin tablet at home. We can grind the vitamin B12 tablet into powder, dilute it 1000 times with water, and soak the roots for 30 minutes, which will have a good rooting effect.

aspirin

We can take out the unused aspirin tablets at home and make rooting water. Because aspirin is rich in salicylic acid, diluting it 100 times and then dipping the roots can promote the rooting of cuttings.

potassium permanganate

The main function of potassium permanganate is sterilization and disinfection. It has similar effects to carbendazim and can be bought at ordinary pharmacies. When using, dilute potassium permanganate 500-1000 times, soak cuttings or old roots for 10-12 hours, and dry them in the shade before cutting or transplanting.

Gentian Purple

Use a cotton swab to dip into gentian violet and apply it to the cut surface of the cuttings. Then make a solution in the ratio of 1-2 drops of gentian violet to 50 ml of water. Soak the base of the cuttings for 10-15 minutes to increase the survival rate of the cuttings.
