How many days does it take for the germination of the auricularia auricula? Seed germination temperature and germination method

How long does it take for wood ear vegetable to germinate

It usually takes 3-5 days for Auricularia auricula to germinate after sowing. Because the seed coat of Auricularia auricula is relatively hard and difficult to germinate, it must be germinated before sowing.

First, soak the seeds in 35℃ warm water for 1-2 days, then take them out and place them at 25-30℃ for germination. After the seeds turn white, they can be sown.

Time for emergence of edible fungus

It takes about 10 days for black fungus to germinate when sown directly. If you want it to germinate faster and have a higher germination rate, it is recommended to germinate it before sowing, and then sow it after the leaves turn white. In this way, the black fungus seeds will germinate in 6-7 days.

Management of Xanthoceras after germination

1. Thinning and finalization

When the wood vegetable seedlings grow 1-2 leaves, they need to be thinned out. When they grow to 4-5 leaves, they need to be transplanted. The transplanting distance should be carried out in the same way as sowing, and should be controlled at about 20 cm.

2. Temperature management

The temperature requirements for the different stages of the growth of Auricularia auricula are different. When it is a seedling, the temperature is kept at 25-26 degrees during the day and 16-17 degrees at night. After the cotyledons unfold, the temperature is kept at 28-30 degrees during the day and 18-20 degrees at night, but the temperature should be lowered a week before harvesting. Generally, the temperature is kept at 24-25 degrees during the day and 14-15 degrees at night, mainly for its healthy growth, increasing the thickness and color of the leaves, and improving the quality.

3. Soil, fertilizer and water management

After the seedlings have grown, weeding should be done in time, and the soil should be properly cultivated to prevent the roots from being exposed. On the basis of applying sufficient base fertilizer, topdressing should be done several times during the growth period, and after each harvest. Auricularia prefers moist soil, so water it frequently to keep the soil moist. It is recommended to water it in small amounts and multiple times, which is conducive to the growth of Auricularia, thereby increasing the yield.
