Crystal Palm is a succulent plant of the Liliaceae family. The plant is short, with a height of 5-6 cm. Its leaves are emerald green and tongue-shaped. They grow on very short stems and grow densely together in a rosette shape. The mesophyll is translucent, with terminal racemes and very small flowers.

Crystal palm succulent cultivation

1. Soil

   The succulent crystal palm is suitable for planting in loose, fertile, well-breathable sandy soil. It can be made into culture soil with half loam and half coarse sand, and a small amount of bone meal. As for the flower pot, because the root system of the crystal palm is very shallow, it is suitable for planting in a small shallow pot.

2. Lighting

   The crystal palm cannot lack light during its growth period, but it prefers partial shade. When grown indoors, it should be placed in a place with sufficient scattered light to provide the crystal palm with appropriate light. Its leaves will be green and transparent, and very cute.

3. Temperature

   Crystal palm likes warm environment, and the most suitable growth temperature is 20-25℃. It is not cold-resistant, and the wintering temperature should not be lower than 10℃, otherwise it is easy to be frostbite. Therefore, before winter, it is best to move the crystal palm indoors for cultivation.

4. Watering

   In the cultivation process of crystal palm, watering is indispensable, but crystal palm is a succulent plant, it is drought-resistant, so do not water it too much. Water it once every 2-3 days during the growing season and keep the soil in the pot moderately moist.

Crystal palm maintenance precautions

1. Although the crystal palm needs sunlight, it is not tolerant to strong light. Too strong sunlight will cause the plant to grow poorly, causing the leaves to turn light brown and the leaf surface to become non-transparent, seriously affecting its appreciation.

2. Although the crystal palm likes a humid environment, its leaves store a lot of water, so do not water it too much, otherwise the roots will easily rot. In addition, it is best not to contaminate the leaves when watering, otherwise it will easily cause the leaves to rot.
