How to grow water-absorbing green radish to make it more vigorous

Water-absorbing green radish refers to a potted green radish that automatically absorbs water and nutrients. The cultivation method of water-absorbing green radish is not much different from that of ordinary potted green radish. In order to make the green radish plants grow more vigorously, in addition to reasonable fertilization and temperature control, it is also necessary to change the water in time to ensure the water quality is clean.

Key points for cultivating water-absorbing green radish

1. Change water in time

When cultivating water-absorbing green radish, as long as there is sufficient water source, the plant can automatically absorb water. This requires us to add and change water in time to ensure the water quality is clean. Change the water source about once every 7 days in summer and once every 15 days in winter. Mineral water is a good choice for caring for green radish. If there are no conditions, you can expose tap water to the sun for 2-3 days before use.

2. Ensure temperature and light

The most suitable temperature for the growth of water-absorbing green radish is around 20℃. Too low a temperature will cause frost damage. At the same time, the growth of green radish requires a certain amount of light. At ordinary times, the green radish can be maintained in a ventilated place with scattered light. In winter, it can be placed in a warm place with light all day long. You can also cover the outside of the flowerpot with antifreeze cotton cloth to take good warming measures.

3. Reasonable fertilization

The normal growth of the water-absorbing green radish requires sufficient nutrients. Regularly applying nitrogen fertilizer and potassium fertilizer to the green radish plants can make the leaves of the plants more shiny, but be careful not to use too high a concentration of fertilizer to avoid fertilizer damage and burns to the roots.

Precautions for cultivating water-absorbing green radish

When growing water-absorbing green radish, you need to provide sufficient light conditions. However, when the temperature is high and the sunlight is strong in summer, you need to move the plant to a dark and ventilated place. You can also spray water around the plant or on the leaves to lower the temperature.
