What is the difference between microbial fertilizer and bacterial agent (what is the role of bacterial fertilizer)

Are bacterial fertilizers and biological agents the same?

Microbial fertilizers are widely used in the planting process. Today I will tell you the difference between microbial fertilizers and microbial agents , and how to apply them to achieve the best results.

What is microbial fertilizer

Let’s first talk about it. Microbial fertilizer is made by adding beneficial bacteria to organic fertilizer .

According to national regulations, the standard of 884 is generally required to have organic matter greater than 40%, effective live bacteria count greater than 20 million per gram, and moisture content less than 30%.

Since microbial fertilizer is made based on organic fertilizer, the price is relatively low, generally priced at 60 to 80 yuan per 80 kilograms.

What are microbial agents?

Microbial agents are the highest level of microbial fertilizers.

The microbial agent uses the 20287 standard. The main technical indicator is that the effective live bacteria count is greater than 200 million per gram. There are no requirements for nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and organic matter, so better raw materials can be used.

For example, water-soluble amino acid fertilizers have good effects as carriers. Generally speaking, the price of microbial agents is 80 to 120 yuan per 80 kilograms .

What is the difference between these two microbial fertilizers?

Generally speaking, microbial fertilizers are used in large quantities as base fertilizers due to their relatively low prices.

Microbial agents can be used as base fertilizer or applied directly.

Although microbial agents are more expensive, they are used in smaller quantities. Of course, both types of microbial fertilizers have good effects.

Taking fruit trees as an example, one acre of apple trees can use 800 to 1,000 kilograms of microbial fertilizer.

In order to reduce costs, part of the microbial fertilizer can be replaced with organic fertilizer, which can effectively reduce costs. Under normal circumstances, 3 to 5 kilograms of microbial agents can be applied per mu of land, which will have a very good effect.

When using microbial fertilizers, you must pay attention to the storage environment.

Microbial fertilizers are rather delicate and should be stored in a ventilated and cool place. They should not be exposed to the sun. Too high a temperature will cause the beneficial bacteria to die in large numbers.

The soil environment is also important when using it. It is recommended to improve the soil before use, which can increase the survival rate of beneficial bacteria.
