How to reproduce dragon bones, reproduction methods and time

Dragon bone breeding method

The main way of propagating dragon bones is by cuttings. The best season for cuttings is the growing season, that is, spring and autumn. Theoretically, these two seasons are the easiest for them to survive because the climate is more suitable and they can grow vigorously after cuttings.

Common breeding methods of dragon bones

Propagation of keel cuttings

1. The most common method of propagation of dragon bones is cutting propagation, which has a very high survival rate. You need to select strong stem segments as cuttings, and the length should be about 30 cm. After cutting, you need to wrap the incision with wood ash and then put it in a cool place. After the wound is dry, you can carry out cuttings.

2. In order to make the dragon bone easier to take root, it needs to be kept fully dry when placed in a cool place for about seven days. When taking cuttings, a suitable growth environment is needed, and it needs to be watered in time after the cuttings are completed. Then it can be placed in a cool area for maintenance, and it will take root soon.

3. When cutting dragon bones, you need to pay attention to using a suitable substrate. You need to ensure that the soil is loose, transparent and fertile. During the growth period, in order to increase its survival rate, you need to fertilize it regularly, generally once a month, and it will take root in about one and a half months.
