Can jasmine be grown hydroponically?

Jasmine can be grown in water, which is relatively simpler than soil cultivation. As for which method is better, you can choose according to your needs. Soil cultivation is more stable and can absorb more nutrients, while hydroponics is more ornamental and suitable for display at home.

Jasmine hydroponic method and key points

1. Before hydroponically cultivating jasmine, you must first prepare a transparent container, then clean the bottle and add clean water, and keep the water depth at about 3 cm. After a few hours, the chlorine in the container has gradually dissipated. At this time, keep the water temperature consistent with room temperature.

2. Select healthy jasmine branches, trim them to a length of about 8 cm, then remove the leaves at the bottom and clean them, soak them in nutrient solution for a while and set aside.

3. Insert the jasmine branches into the container. Since the branches are very fragile at this time, they need to be placed in a place with good air circulation. Wait for the jasmine to grow on its own, and the hydroponics is completed.

Precautions for growing jasmine in water

1. Light: Jasmine likes to grow in a dark and cool environment. It can be given sufficient light appropriately. It cannot be exposed to the sun. It must be properly shaded, otherwise the leaves will easily be burned.

2. Change the water: In the early growth period of jasmine, the water is usually changed every 2-3 days. After the roots are formed in the water, the water can be changed every half a month. When changing the water, you can add appropriate nutrient solution to make the flowers bloom better.
