Peanut planting conditions and regional climate and soil requirements

Peanut Planting Conditions

1. Temperature conditions: When planting peanuts, the average temperature needs to be kept above 21 degrees, and the total active accumulated temperature must be greater than 3200℃. The average daily temperature needs to be greater than 15 degrees after germination.

2. Light conditions: After planting peanuts, the light time needs to be maintained at more than 1250 hours, especially in the seedling stage, it must reach about 214 hours, and in the pod-setting stage it must reach more than 318 hours.

Peanut growing environment

Peanuts prefer a warm growing environment and have a relatively long growing season. They are suitable for growing in sandy soil with moderate rainfall. They need sufficient sunlight and moisture during maintenance. They need appropriate shade during the high temperatures in summer, and warming measures must be taken in winter to keep warm.

Peanut Planting Methods

1. Soil selection: Peanuts are more suitable for growing in soil rich in trace elements and with good drainage, so when planting, you need to choose loose and breathable sandy soil, and apply enough base fertilizer before planting.

2. Germination treatment: Peanuts need to be germinated before sowing, which can increase their germination rate. The shells need to be removed and the plump seeds soaked in warm water. Take them out after three hours and cover them with a wet towel to germinate.

3. Sowing: After the peanuts germinate, they can be sown. Row sowing can be used. After sowing, they need to be covered with fine soil and sprayed with water.
