Corn planting time

Corn can be divided into spring corn and autumn corn. Spring corn is usually planted in April and May and can be harvested in August, while the planting time of autumn corn should not exceed July at the latest. After planting, it can be harvested in October.

Corn Planting Methods

1. Seed treatment: When sowing corn, be sure to use dried seeds and select fuller and healthier seeds so that they can absorb water faster after sowing.

2. Choose soil: Before planting corn, you need to choose suitable soil, preferably loose, fertile, and well-drained soil. After choosing the right soil, you need to apply enough base fertilizer.

3. Reasonable planting density: When sowing corn, there must be a reasonable planting density. If the soil fertility is relatively high, the planting density should be larger. After sowing, watering is required in time.

Corn planting precautions

1. When planting corn, the depth should be appropriate, preferably around 5-6 cm. If it is loose sandy soil, deep sowing is required, preferably around 6-8 cm.

2. After corn is sown, when it reaches the seedling stage, it needs sufficient nutrients and timely fertilization, which can promote its growth and development.
