1. Leaf DifferenceThe leaves of daffodils are flat and ribbon-shaped, pale green in color, with a frosty surface, blunt tips and parallel veins. When mature, the leaves can reach 30 to 50 cm in length and about 1 to 5 cm in width. The base of the leaves is milky white sheath-like scales and there is no petiole. Cinnamon leaves are alternate or nearly opposite, oblong or nearly lanceolate in shape, 8 to 16 cm long and 4 to 5.5 cm wide, with a slightly acute tip and leathery texture. 2. Flower DifferencesThe inflorescence axis of daffodils emerges from between the leaves. It is green, cylindrical, hollow inside, and the inflorescence is an umbel. The small flowers are fan-shaped at the top of the inflorescence axis and are wrapped in a membranous spathe. There are usually 3 to 7 small flowers. The corolla is white, and the corona is cup-shaped and bright yellow. Cinnamon has axillary or nearly terminal panicles, white flowers, and the inner and outer surfaces of the perianth are densely covered with short yellow-brown hairs, with oblong lobes. |
