Can roses be hydroponically cultivated?

Roses can be grown in water or in soil. Roses have strong regeneration ability, and water culture has many advantages that soil culture does not have. The method of growing roses in water is relatively simple, and the survival rate is very high. It is not restricted by any time and is particularly ornamental.

Hydroponic culture method of rose

1. Processing branches

When growing roses in water, you need to choose strong branches for hydroponics. First, process the leaves of the branches. You need to keep the leaves at the top of the branches and just cut them diagonally at the root.

2. Choose a container

When growing roses in water, you need to choose a glass bottle with a mouth of 5 to 8 cm. At the same time, prepare a plastic bowl with a few small holes, insert the branches into the plastic bowl, and finally add an appropriate amount of water to the glass bottle.

Precautions for growing roses in water

1. Change water: During the hydroponic culture of roses, when the temperature is high, the water needs to be changed once a week. When the branches have not taken root, the water needs to be changed every 3 to 4 days.

2. Add nutrient solution: When the rose is grown in hydroponics, in the early stage when the branches have not yet taken root, it is necessary to add nutrient solution every half a month, and place it in a cool and ventilated place to wait for it to take root.
