How to slow down the growth of spider plants

Chlorophytum comosum seedling acclimatization time

It will take three to five days to a week for the spider plant to acclimate. After it has adapted to the pot, you can gradually move it to a place with dappled light for care. The spider plant is tenacious and easy to care for. It is better to place it in a bright and ventilated place indoors. Water it when it is dry, and it is better to spray water on the leaves frequently.

Chlorophytum seedling acclimatization method

There is no need to change the flowerpot: just place it in a place with good diffuse light for 3-5 days. Once the leaves have recovered their moisture, you can move it to the living room, study and other places for maintenance.

If you want to change the flowerpot: choose a pot of similar size to the one you brought with you, fill it with loose and breathable nutrient soil, then take the spider plant out of the pot with the soil, and put the whole thing into the new pot. There is no need to break up the soil, just put it directly in. Finally, water it thoroughly and place it in a place with good diffuse light for a few days to cool down.

Precautions for Chlorophytum comosum seedling acclimatization

1. Choose a flower pot with strong air permeability and try to use a ceramic pot.

2. The soil should be loose, fertile, breathable, neutral and slightly acidic.

3. Make sure the soil in the spider plant pot is slightly moist, not too dry or too wet.

4. Change the pot about every two to three years and add base fertilizer. The base fertilizer cannot come into direct contact with the root system.
