It takes about 5-6 years for the old crow to bear fruit from planting, and it usually enters the peak fruit-bearing period after 6 years. If it is propagated by grafting, it can bear fruit in about 2-3 years. Potted old crow can bloom and bear fruit in small quantities in the second year.

The reason why crows do not bear fruit

1. The plant of Dried Persimmon is dioecious. Although a single female tree can bear fruit, it is possible that it will not bear fruit, so it is best to graft male and female trees together.

2. If the old crow tree is not pruned in time, a lot of useless nutrients will be consumed. Especially for young old crow trees, they must be pruned in time to avoid the phenomenon of not bearing fruit.

1. Processing seeds

Before planting, the seeds of the old crow need to be soaked in 30℃ hot water for two days, then placed in wet gauze and watered with clean water once a day until the seeds germinate and then sowed in the seedbed.

2. Post-management

The soil used for planting old crow persimmon can be prepared with river sand, leaf mold, and loess. After planting, water it thoroughly and place it in a cool environment for half a month.
