Cramming fertilization

Many flower lovers have complained that composting is too smelly, laborious and not only does it attract insects. It’s really tiring just thinking about it. Today Huahua will introduce a time-saving and labor-saving method to everyone. The most important thing is that it is very clean~

① Prepare a plastic bottle, it doesn’t have to be too big, a mineral water bottle you usually use for drinking water will do, and cut off the bottom of the bottle.

② Bury the plastic bottle in the flowerpot, leaving only the bottle cap exposed above the soil. When burying the plants, please note that the bottle should be placed on the edge of the pot, not too close to the middle. Otherwise, it will not only block the growth of the roots, but also easily burn the roots during the composting process.

③ Open the lid of the plastic bottle, cut the watermelon rind, vegetable leaves, fruit peel, etc. into pieces, fill them into the plastic bottle, and then tighten the cap to ferment.

④ In the future, as long as there are leftovers at home, you can fill them into the plastic bottle. After 2-3 months, the fruit peels and vegetable leaves that were first put into the bottom of the pot have rotted, and you can supplement nutrients for the flowers.

⑥ The advantage of this way of composting is that it will not burn the roots, because the fermentation process is carried out in the plastic bottle, the heat generated will not burn the roots, and once the bottle is closed, it will not produce odor and will not attract insects. If you are still worried about insects, you can add some insecticides such as furadan when filling the peels and rotten leaves.

One-knife explosion

I've had a cactus at home for several years, and it still looks the same as when I first bought it, lifeless. Maybe it's living too comfortably and has no desire to make progress.

You must give it a blow and let it feel your anger. In fact, it breaks the internal balance and stability. When it feels danger is approaching, it will grow wildly.

① Prepare a sharp knife and disinfect it with carbendazim solution.

② Find about 1/3-1/2 of the cactus and cut off the upper half horizontally.

③ Apply some carbendazim to the two cut parts respectively and place them in a ventilated and diffused light environment for 1-2 days to allow the cut surface to dry.

④ Do not let the remaining cactus in the pot get watered within 2 weeks. After that, if you carry out normal maintenance, it will give birth to many cubs one after another in one month!

⑤ After the cut part is dried and placed in new soil, it will take root again and you will have another cactus.

One-tug sprout

If the rose in your home is thin, tall and shaky, you can pull it until it doubts its life. In this way, it will work hard and sprout out like bamboo shoots within a week. From now on, your rose can be expanded from one plant to a whole pot.

▽ Pull before

▽ After pulling

▷ Method 1: Pull the main branch horizontally

① Separate the branches on both sides of the rose and press them to both sides at 90 degrees.

② Fix the branches with ropes or wires to keep them stable and prevent them from rebounding. Be careful not to pull them too hard to avoid breaking them.

③ In this way, the original branches of the rose will lose their apical dominance, and new buds will emerge from the base within 1 week. It works every time.

④ If there are too many small buds and they grow too densely, you can pick off a few weaker ones to reserve nutrients for the development of strong branches.

▷ Method 2: Side basin

① Tilt the rose pot 45 degrees, with the weaker side with fewer branches facing upward.

② In this way, the weak side of the branch will form apical dominance and sprout more new buds, allowing the rose to grow more branches, making the plant fuller and producing more flowers.

▷ Method 3: Breaking branches

① Choose some weaker branches and bend them near the bottom.

② Be careful not to break it completely, just break it in half, and make sure there are still 2-3 buds on the lower part of the broken part, so that more branches can grow, otherwise it will be broken in vain!

③ About a week later, new buds will sprout from the lower part of the broken branch!
