Are baby's breath afraid of the sun?

Starry sky

Gypsophila paniculata is a typical sun-loving plant. The plant prefers sunlight. Only when it is fully exposed to sunlight can the plant synthesize nutrients normally and promote better growth.

However, it is necessary to distinguish the seasons when exposing baby's breath to sunlight. For example, in summer the sunlight is very strong and needs to be blocked, while in winter the sunlight is mild and can be exposed to the sun more.

Baby's breath basking in the sun

Gypsophila can be exposed to the sun because it is a positive plant and likes light very much. Only in a place with good light can it carry out photosynthesis better and accumulate more nutrients. However, if the gypsophila is planted indoors, it should not be exposed to the sun. It is better to expose it to the sun in the morning and evening, otherwise the plant will easily be sunburned.

Gypsophila sunburn

1. Baby's breath loves light very much, but if it is exposed to the sun continuously, its branches and leaves will dry up and grow poorly, so it needs appropriate shade when the light is too strong.

2. If sunburn has occurred, the injured part needs to be cut off in time, the wound needs to be properly disinfected, and then it needs to be placed in a cool and ventilated environment for growth. If conditions permit, a sunshade should be built for the plant later.
