How to trim the brocade star

How to trim the brocade star

When is the best time to prune the spathiphyllum?

The variegated star plant almost does not need to be pruned. If it starts to grow too tall, you can prune it appropriately. There are four main methods of pruning: head pruning, flower sword pruning, branch pruning and diseased branch pruning.

How to prune the branches of the jasmine

1. Beheading and pruning

The genus Artemisia cannot be deliberately pruned during the breeding process, otherwise it will have a certain impact on itself. However, when the phenomenon of excessive growth occurs, it needs to be treated, and the excess branches on the top should be drooped. It can be propagated by cuttings in flower soil and the light exposure time should be increased every day.

2. Flower sword pruning

How to prune the Artemisia selengensis during the flowering stage? It is best to prune the flower stems during the flowering stage, otherwise it will consume the nutrients of the plant itself. If it is not properly maintained during the period, the plant will die after the flowers wither. Therefore, it is necessary to prune it at the bottom of the flower stem and apply phosphorus and potassium fertilizers once.

3. Branch pruning

During spring care, the yellow croaker of the Jinhuangxing plant will have good side branches. If the flowerpot is small, it will affect the growth of the mother plant. At this time, it is best to trim the branches from the root system and maintain them in separate pots. In this way, one plant can be turned into multiple plants.

4. Pruning diseased branches

In the summer, the gentian often suffers from diseases and pests. At this time, the diseased leaves need to be removed in time to prevent the further spread of the pathogen. Then, disinfect the gentian and increase ventilation management. Insecticide particles can be buried in the soil to play a bactericidal role. The gentian needs to be repotted every year.

Things to pay attention to when pruning the jasmine

In the process of cultivating the jinhuangxing plant, the soil should be turned over once a year. Dig out, turn over and aging jinhuangxing plants, remove the lumps of soil, and fill the land again. Do not place the jinhuangxing plant in a dark place, otherwise the branches of the jinhuangxing plant will grow longer. Try to place it in a ventilated place.
