Cauliflower sowing time

Cauliflower, also known as cauliflower, is a common vegetable. The plant is mostly propagated by sowing. It grows very fast. It can germinate 7-10 days after sowing in an environment of 20℃ and can be harvested in about 80-90 days.

Cauliflower is generally sown in autumn, which is around August every year, so it can be planted in September and harvested around December.

Cauliflower sowing method

1. Choose the soil

Cauliflower likes places with convenient watering and fertile soil. In addition, appropriate amounts of nutrients should be added to the soil. You can use decomposed farmyard manure and a small amount of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers.

2. Sowing

Cauliflower seeds can be sown directly, evenly spreading the seeds on the seedbed, then covering them with a layer of fine soil and waiting for them to germinate.

Cauliflower planting tips and techniques

1. When the cauliflower seedlings grow to about 15 cm, they should be transplanted. The row spacing should be controlled at about 50 cm. Pay attention to the survival of the seedlings. If dead or missing seedlings are found, they should be replaced in time.

2. After the cauliflower seeds germinate, pay attention to the prevention and control of diseases and pests. Appropriate spraying of agents such as Mitelike and Jianzhibao on the seedling bed can avoid the occurrence of diseases and pests.
