1. Water

Red Brilliant is relatively drought-resistant and does not require too much water. Do not water too often, as this will cause the plant to grow excessively. When the growing medium becomes dry, water it immediately. The frequency of watering should be increased during hot summer months, and reduced appropriately during winter months.

2. Fertilizer

It likes fertilizer, so keep it well-stocked. Generally, fertilizer is applied once every 15 days or so, usually containing base nitrogen and high phosphorus or potassium fertilizer, but be sure not to apply too much, just a thin layer is enough. In winter, you need to stop fertilizing.

3. Temperature

Hong Huiyan is resistant to low temperatures, but the temperature cannot be too low, it is best to maintain it above 5℃. If the temperature is too cold, the leaves and rhizomes will be frozen, so it is best to keep it indoors during the winter.

4. Lighting

Light management must be done well. Good lighting should be ensured at normal times, and care should be taken to avoid direct sunlight. The plant can be exposed to sunlight at will at other times. Sometimes the weather is bad and the sunlight is weak, so artificial lighting should be used at this time.
