The survival rate of Jade Plant by cuttings is very high. If the method is correct and the plant is properly cared for after cutting, it will take root and survive in about half a month.

Jade Plant can be propagated by cuttings in a transparent container. The soil for cuttings should be light media such as peat and coconut coir. Jade leaf cuttings long leaves

Jade Plant can usually grow leaves 20-30 days after cuttings. During this period, it is necessary to provide suitable growth temperature and timely watering and moisturizing. If the maintenance environment is not appropriate, the time will be extended.

Rooting method of Jade Leaf cuttings

1. Making cuttings: Cut the Jade Plant branches into 10 cm pieces, then trim the leaves at the bottom, leaving only the leaves at the top, cut the bottom of the branches into an inclined surface, place the branches in a cool place, and wait for the wound to dry. This will help the cuttings to take root. Do not directly cut the branches after pruning them.

2. Carry out cuttings: After making the cuttings, prepare loose and fertile soil. You can add some coarse sand and gravel to increase the air permeability of the soil. Insert the cuttings into the soil, press the soil around the branches, remove the gaps, water to ensure the soil moisture, and place them in a cool and ventilated place to wait for rooting.

3. Notes: During the rooting process of Jade Plant, it is necessary to ensure sufficient light, provide appropriate shade at noon, and place it in a bright place with diffuse light. Ensure that the ambient temperature is between 20 and 25 degrees. After the roots take shape, the branches and buds continue to grow, and the young branches at the bottom can be cut off. Wait until the main trunk grows relatively strong before transplanting and maintenance.

Jade Plant Cutting Management

1. After the Jade Plant is grafted, pay attention to shade and place it in a bright and ventilated place for maintenance. After the rhizomes grow out, it can be exposed to appropriate light, but not strong light.

2. Fertilizer can be applied when the Jade Plant grows roots after cuttings. It is best to use nitrogen fertilizer twice a month, and the concentration must be diluted.

3. If the cuttings of Jade Plant are dried in advance, you can water them thoroughly after cuttings, and keep them moisturized in the later stage so that they can take root faster. If the wound is not dried, you need to wait two or three days before watering it to prevent the wound from getting wet and rotting.
