Introduction to Shiitake Mushroom Growth Shiitake mushrooms are mainly distributed in Anhui, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hunan, Fujian, Guangdong, Yunnan, Guizhou, etc. In addition, shiitake mushrooms are also grown in northern Africa, New Zealand, and Patagonia in South America. Shiitake mushroom growth cycle The growth cycle of shiitake mushrooms is about 5-6 months. It has high requirements for external environmental conditions and has strict requirements on water, nutrients, temperature, air, light and pH. Mushroom growth rate After the mushrooms are inoculated, the growth period is generally between 120 and 140 days. Its growth rate depends on the ambient temperature and humidity. When the conditions are right, it will mature in about 2 days, and it will stop growing at low temperatures. Shiitake mushroom growth cycle management Each stick of shiitake mushrooms can yield 1.5 catties of fresh mushrooms, and generally produces about 40,000 catties. Shiitake mushrooms are aerobic fungi, and sufficient oxygen is required to ensure their normal growth. Temperature management: Shiitake mushroom mycelium grows best in an environment of 5-24 degrees, but if the temperature exceeds 32 degrees, the mycelium will grow weakly and the temperature is too high and it is easy to die. Fertilization management : During the growth period of shiitake mushrooms, apply a balanced compound fertilizer of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium every 10-15 days to help it grow better. |
