Peaches prefer a cool and sunny environment. The most suitable temperature for photosynthesis is 30 degrees. When the average temperature during the growing period is 24-25 degrees, the yield is high and the quality is excellent. They like a high temperature and humid environment. Peach trees are shallow-rooted fruit trees and cannot tolerate waterlogging. Just keep the soil slightly moist during the growth period.

Peaches were originally distributed in China, where they were widely grown in the provinces and regions along the Yangtze River Delta. Later, they spread to surrounding areas in Asia and are now widely cultivated around the world.

Peach planting time

The planting time for peaches should be from mid-to-late October to mid-to-late January of the following year. The climate environment at this time is more conducive to survival and is beneficial to the later germination and growth. Attention should also be paid to the planting method. Sufficient base fertilizer should be given before planting. At least 50 kilograms of manure should be applied to each plant. After planting, rooting water should be poured as soon as possible, and water should be poured thoroughly. Cover with soil after the water penetrates.

The gross income from peaches can reach 8,000 yuan per mu, and 80,000 yuan for 10 mu of land. No income can be obtained after the first year of fruiting, but the economic life of peach trees is more than ten years. After the second year of fruiting, the annual profit is about 50,000 to 70,000 yuan.
