Potted pepper trees are very water-loving. The soil needs to be kept slightly moist during normal care. The frequency of watering should be increased during the peak growth period, and watering should be done once a week.

5. Temperature

The optimum growth temperature for Sichuan pepper is 20-25℃. The plant is also very cold-resistant and can withstand temperatures as low as -20℃. However, attention should be paid to the damage caused to the plant by late spring frost.
