1. Pot soil

2. Pruning

3. Fertilization

For potted pepper trees, quick-acting nitrogen fertilizer should be applied before flowering, nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers should be used mainly during the flower bud differentiation period, and phosphorus and potassium fertilizers should be used mainly after flowering.

4. Moisture

Potted pepper trees are very water-loving. The soil needs to be kept slightly moist during normal care. The frequency of watering should be increased during the peak growth period, and watering should be done once a week.

5. Temperature

The optimum growth temperature for Sichuan pepper is 20-25℃. The plant is also very cold-resistant and can withstand temperatures as low as -20℃. However, attention should be paid to the damage caused to the plant by late spring frost.
