1. Site selection and improvement: Choose neutral or slightly acidic sandy loam with good drainage, fertility and looseness for planting, which is beneficial to the root growth of pumpkin.

2. Seed treatment: Select full and complete pumpkin seeds, then soak them in warm water. You can plant them after the seed shell turns white.

3. Planting: Plant the pumpkin seeds in the soil, then water them thoroughly and apply enough base fertilizer. Just pay attention to the spacing when planting.
