How to save seeds of chayote

The method of preserving seeds of chayote is relatively simple. After taking the seeds out of the fruit, you need to wash off the seed pulp outside the seeds with clean water, then spread the seeds out to dry in the shade, and store them in a dry place.

After collecting the chayote seeds, you can directly purchase good quality ones, place them in warm water to germinate, add a certain amount of medicine, and finally take them out and wash them.

Chayote can be planted from seeds, preferably in spring from April to May. Greenhouse planting can be done one month in advance when the climate is more suitable. If properly maintained, it will bloom and bear fruit in the same year.

How to grow chayote seeds

1. Prepare the soil

Choose soil with good drainage and air permeability. The planting site should have sufficient sunlight. Then deep plow the soil once and apply some farmyard manure to the land.

2. Sowing
