How to make wheat seeds germinate quickly? How long does it take for the seeds to germinate?

Wheat seed germination method

Method 1 : Select disease-free, disease-resistant and high-yielding wheat seeds. After soaking and disinfecting them with medicine, bury them in moist sandy loam about 5 cm deep. Then place them in a cool place, keep the soil moist and wait for about a week for them to germinate .

Method 2 : Place the selected wheat seeds in a container, add enough water to cover the seeds, and leave half of the space for the seeds to breathe air. During this period, pay attention to changing the water to ensure the water quality is clear. You can also place the disinfected wheat seeds on moist filter paper and move them to a cool and ventilated place for about 3 days for them to germinate .

Wheat seed germination process

Green sprouts can be seen emerging from soil-grown wheat seeds about a week after they are buried in the soil. White sprouts can be seen emerging from hydroponic wheat seeds at a temperature of 15-20℃ in about 3 days.

Wheat seeds planting and harvesting

The wheat harvest time depends on the sowing area. Different regions have different climates, sowing and harvesting times are also different. Winter wheat is planted in the area south of the Great Wall of my country. It is sown in September and October every year. The growing period is 6-7 months and it is usually harvested in May-July of the following year. Spring wheat is planted in the area north of the Great Wall. It is sown in March and April and can be harvested in September-October of the same autumn.
