Seed treatment: To prevent cabbage seeds from carrying pathogens, they can be soaked in carbendazim for 24 hours before sowing. This can reduce the occurrence of diseases and pests during the growth period.

Cabbage seeds can be kept for one year and stored in a dry place. You can keep the seeds of cabbage yourself by cutting the inflorescences, drying them, rubbing out the seeds, and sifting them clean.

Cabbage seed storage

Cabbage seeds need to be preserved after harvesting so that the activity of the seeds will not be reduced. They are generally stored and collected in a dry and sealed manner.

Cabbage seeds planting

Cabbage seeds can be maintained in greenhouses in December and raised in seedling trays. They will generally emerge 5 days after sowing. During this period, they must be carefully maintained and the temperature must be controlled. When the temperature is high, attention must be paid to ventilation to prevent seedling burns. When the temperature is low, the ground needs to be covered with film to prevent the seedlings from freezing.

Add water about once a week depending on the soil conditions. When the seedlings grow to 2 leaves and 1 heart, thin them out in time to prevent the branches and leaves from growing too long. This will ensure that the seedlings are of uniform size. When the seedling stems are more than 0.5 cm thick, a maintenance temperature of more than 15 degrees is required to prevent them from going through the vernalization stage. When the seedlings grow 5-6 true leaves, they can be transplanted.
