The cultivation methods and precautions of Butterfly Dance

The cultivation methods and precautions of Butterfly Dance

1. Maintenance methods

1. Substrate: The soil selection requirements should be fertile, well-drained and loose. Such soil is more conducive to the growth of Butterfly Dance.

2. Light: It likes sufficient diffuse light. In summer, it is best to place it in sparse sunlight. It does not like a shady environment.

3. Temperature: Butterfly Dance prefers a warm and cool climate and is afraid of the scorching sun in summer. It can bloom normally for people to appreciate when the temperature is above 12 degrees Celsius. In winter, it can temporarily adapt to an environment of 0℃. The temperature in winter cannot be lower than 5℃. It is afraid of cold and frost.

4. Water: In the rainy season of summer, watering should be controlled. The soil should not be too wet or exposed to rain, otherwise it will cause root rot. Controlling watering can protect the flowers and stems of the plants. Watering should be done thoroughly, and water only after the soil is dry.

2. Breeding techniques

1. Leaf cuttings: Cut off leaves that are strong enough, dry the cut ends, and insert them obliquely into a sandy pot. New roots will grow in about 10 days, and small plants will grow after a month.

2. Cutting: May or June is the best time. Choose thick top stems and leaves, about 10 cm in length. After it dries, insert it into the sand bed. Roots will grow in about a week. When the roots grow to two or three centimeters, you can plant it in a pot.

3. Problem diagnosis and treatment

1. Weak growth: Butterfly Dance likes an environment with sufficient sunlight. If there is insufficient light for a long time, the plant will be thin and weak, and the ornamental effect will be relatively poor, so it should receive sufficient light.

2. Root rot: Watering should be controlled during the rainy season in summer, and the soil should not be too wet, otherwise the roots will rot. Root rot should be dealt with immediately, the stagnant water should be drained and the rotten roots should be cut off.

IV. Other issues

1. Can it be hydroponically cultivated: It can be hydroponically cultivated, usually in spring or autumn. It is suitable to cut branches of appropriate length for hydroponics. At around 25 degrees Celsius, it can take root in a week.

2. Is it toxic? The butterfly dance is non-toxic. It is an ornamental plant that can purify the air, absorb toxic gases, and absorb formaldehyde.
