How to prune the ground roots

How to prune the ground roots

When to prune the rooting plants

The plant can be pruned in spring and propagated by beheading. After beheading the stems and leaves, they can be placed in a cool place to dry, and the stems and leaves can be inserted into loose soil. The soil in the pot should be kept moist and the temperature should be controlled at 20℃. This will allow the stems and leaves to take root and sprout again, promoting better growth.

Rooting and pruning branches and leaves

When pruning the nematodes, disinfect the knife with carbendazim to remove the excessively long upper part of the nematodes to avoid consuming a large amount of nutrients in the soil and causing the nematodes to grow too tall.

After pruning the upper end of the lycopodii, you can pick the stems and leaves from its base. The leaves that affect the beauty of the plant also need to be cut off in time, and spray it with a solution of carbendazim to prevent the wound of the lycopodii from being infected by bacteria and being harmed by diseases and insects.

Rooting pruning tips

The growth rate of the plant is relatively fast. The newly planted seedlings should be topped in time, and the stems should be avoided from being damaged. Just cut a small section of the plant core. The mature plants should be pruned in time, and the cutting position should be two-thirds of the plant.

The plant grows very fast and has a large shape, especially when it reaches adulthood. It needs to be pruned in time to shorten it so that it can sprout new branches.

Rooting, pruning, flowering

If the bromeliad blooms, it is very easy to die. Usually, when its flower stalk just grows out, it needs to be cut off in time, and try not to let it bloom.

Notes on pruning of ground roots

The juice of the bromeliad is poisonous, so when pruning it, you first need to prepare tools to prevent the juice from touching the skin and causing damage to it.
