Cordyceps growth environment and conditions

Cordyceps prefers a high temperature growing environment and is relatively cold-resistant. When growing, it needs a good ventilation environment, which is more conducive to its growth and development. Its origin is in Sichuan, Qinghai, Tibet, Yunnan, Gansu and other provinces in my country, and it is widely distributed in alpine meadow areas.

Cordyceps growth conditions

Cordyceps generally grows in relatively warm areas and requires sufficient light when cared for. Its distribution is closely related to climate, soil, terrain and other conditions, and vegetation is also one of the important influencing factors.

Cordyceps growth temperature

The mycelium growth temperature of Cordyceps is between 6-30 degrees. During the growth, the temperature needs to be kept between 20-25 degrees. If the temperature is lower than 6 degrees or higher than 30 degrees, it will stop growing.

Cordyceps growth process

When Cordyceps is growing, it needs a suitable temperature environment, which is more conducive to the growth of spores. It usually forms sclerotia in winter, and then in the summer of the second year, it will generate fruiting bodies. When maintaining it, it needs sufficient sunlight, but avoid strong light.

Cordyceps planting time and method

Cordyceps can be planted in spring, usually cultivated indoors. It needs to be maintained in a relatively clean container, and the soil used should be loose and fertile, and have a certain degree of drainage. During maintenance, watering and fertilization should be carried out in time, and a suitable temperature environment should be maintained.
