Planting time and method of Pinus tabulaeformis

2. The land for raising Pinus tabulaeformis seedlings should be loose and fertile, with good drainage, convenient irrigation, and deep soil. Sandy loam or loam is preferred. It should not be planted in saline-alkali land.

3. Pinus tabulaeformis can be sown in rows in spring, with a row spacing of 15 to 20 cm and covered with soil about 1 cm. The germinated seeds will germinate and emerge from the soil one week after sowing. For greenhouse seedling cultivation, sowing should be done one month in advance to maintain air circulation and prevent damping-off disease of seedlings.
