Walnut trees generally grow on hillsides and hilly areas with relatively high altitudes. They are commonly cultivated in plains and hilly areas of my country. They prefer fertile and moist sandy loam and need to be watered in a timely manner.

When the walnut tree is growing, the annual average temperature needs to be maintained between 9-16 degrees. It can withstand extreme minimum temperatures between minus 2 degrees and minus 15 degrees, and can withstand high temperatures of 35 degrees.

The growth process of walnut tree

Walnut trees are usually pollinated in April, and young fruits will grow around May. They will grow rapidly in July. From July to September, it is the oil accumulation period. After September, its growth rate will become slower, and after the White Dew, it will gradually enter the maturity period.

Walnut tree planting time and method

Walnut trees are usually planted in March each year because the temperature at that time is more suitable for growth. They need to be watered in time after planting and pruned regularly. They need sufficient sunlight during the growing period so that they can grow well.
