How to cultivate fortune tree seeds and how to plant them

How to cultivate fortune tree seeds and how to plant them

1. Choose seeds

Before cultivating seeds, you must first select the seeds. It is best to buy the fruits of the money tree. If you buy the seeds directly, the germination rate may not be very high. The purchased seeds may not be fresh after harvesting, transportation and storage, which will affect germination.

2. Germination

After selecting the seeds, prepare a shallow basin, place a layer of paper towel at the bottom, and then pour clean water into it. Then place the seeds on the paper towel and wait for sprouts to appear before planting. When germinating, the seeds will swell up after being soaked in water, and then they will crack open to reveal tender sprouts.

3. Prepare the soil

Prepare some soil free of pathogens. The requirements for planting soil are that it should be loose and breathable, and it must be disinfected before use. When raising it at home, you can mix garden soil, humus soil and perlite together, or you can buy special soil.

4. Planting Method

Place the germinated seeds in the planting soil. Cover them with soil after sowing, but not too thickly. Just cover them with a 1-2 cm layer of soil. Then water it thoroughly, then place it in a ventilated and shady place, maintain sufficient humidity, and wait for it to germinate.
