Winter Jasmine Growth Environment and Conditions

Forsythia is a plant with strong growth ability. It generally grows in hillside bushes at an altitude of about 800-2000 meters. It is widely cultivated all over the world. It grows in Sichuan, Shaanxi, Gansu and northwestern Yunnan in my country. It is a relatively common plant.

Winter Jasmine Growth Conditions

Forsythia is suitable for growing in a well-lit and humid environment. It prefers sunlight and needs bright light when cared for, but it is also slightly shade-tolerant and grows better in a slightly moist soil environment. When watering, generally do not water it unless the soil is dry. Avoid excessive watering.

Winter jasmine growth temperature

For forsythia, the most suitable growth temperature is between 10-20 degrees. It needs to be maintained in an environment with suitable humidity so that it will grow better. It is also slightly cold-resistant and can grow in some cold areas.

Growth process of jasmine

If the forsythia is propagated by cuttings, it will take root first, and then the branches and leaves will grow more vigorously, and after a period of time it will become a mature plant. If it is propagated by layering, the wound will heal first, and the roots will gradually grow, and then it will slowly grow and mature.

Winter jasmine planting time and method

It is recommended to plant forsythia from winter to early spring. The temperature during this period and thereafter is the most suitable for planting, and the growth rate is relatively fast. It can be planted by cutting propagation. Relatively strong branches need to be used for cuttings, and the soil needs to be kept moist during maintenance.
